Once again, President Bard led our meeting and this day he called on Lio Dee to sing our song my Country Tiss Of The.  Allen lead us in saluting our flag and Pete did the invocation.

Brad announced that our former president and Lions district Governor Walt was in the hospital so all of us should keep him in our prayers and wish him a quick recovery. 

The no fine badge was won by Craig "John Denver" Wheaton.


 Board members were asked to stay after our meeting was over for a short meeting. Brad said that it had to do with executive committee pay raises for the next term. (just kidding, or at least I think he was) 

Allen gave us updates on the August 28th golf tournament.  He has registration forms, plus we have five gold ( $1000 ) sponsors. The next golf commute meeting will be August 13 at 5:30  We still need raffle prizes so continue to get them when you are out and about. .

Steve announced that the Save Mart shares card for the last quarter was $189.25

Tom Gabbie announced that the committee for this year's Band Review would have its fist meeting next week.  Get your $10 add from him again this year.

Ed announced wants April 9, 2016, will be the date for the revived Wild Hog Chili Run. That's the second Saturday of April. 

Ruth won last weeks marble drawing, and it was announced that her check was $142.00 which she donated to our Leo club.

Melinda was happy that she had come through a massive rain storm on her vacation in Iowa. Two inches in an hour. 

Dee was happy to have toured the USS  Iowa Battleship in San Pedro.

Craig was happy $10 happy, been out of the office for nearly three weeks, all of his time above 5000 feet. He was accused of impersonating John Denver because of his hair cut.  (just don't buy an ultralight Craig) 

Carol had two happy bucks. One because Ed didn't pay $35 for that Texas hat that he had bid on with Jeannie, and her and Ed were headed to their place in  Moro Bay after the meeting. 

Pat was happy that his sister in laws husband was hiking the Applicant Trail this summer.

Ed was also glad he didn't get that hat.

Ruth, happy it's Friday.

Leigh was happy that Tulare County Special Olympics athletes brought home lots of medals at a recent competition. 

Dee was happy he went to Texas and the USS Iowa. Plus, he also went to an Angles game where he saw a large poster of Allen with the note, "If you see this man, call security".

Allen wished Walt a quick recovery from surgery, and he has an appointment this afternoon that will make his quote for August.


Pat fined President Brad for coming across the street; he was sunburned, and Pat felt that because he was Lions President, he was damaging lions property. Brad replied that God doesn't put marble tops on junk furniture.

Allen fined Dee for a disparaging remark and for coming back from Texas.

Ed fined Allen for his trash talking about Texas because he is a native Texan.

Jeanie fined Ed for not buying the hat that she did buy. 

Craig fined Eric for some city work where a girl almost tripped this morning when he was running.

Chris, find himself, he was the secret greater, and everyone shook his hand.


Janet won the $5 raffle and donated it to our Leo club.

Our Program. Leslie Gardner with Happy trails, 

Leslie is the executive director with Happy Trails, a therapeutic riding academy for children with disabilities. In 2014, they did 2300  rides with kids. They have 17 horses and one Miniature Donkey.
