Covid-19 Update: The Visalia Host Lions club is now back to in-person meetings: 12:00 Noon Fridays.

The Visalia Host Lions recently awarded two scholarships to local high school students.
Golden West senior Destiny Ortiz is the recipient of Visalia Host Lions’ annual scholarship. She has consistently shown her commitment to Community Service in the last four years by volunteering in numerous school, church, non-profit and charitable organizations. She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average all four years and participated in numerous campus clubs. The scholarship will go toward her career aspirations to be a physician.
A recipient of a $1000 scholarship is Madison Tamayo.
On July 31, 2020 lunch and dinner were served by representatives of Visalia Host, Sunset, Sequoia, Charter Oak, and Pride Lions Clubs to the 2nd South Nursing Unit at Kaweah Delta Hospital. All the clubs donated monies and Alejandra’s Mexican Food delivered the enchilada meals to the hospital. There are enough monies left to serve more meals. Lions Clubs of Visalia: WE SERVE!!!
