The Visalia Host Lions Club meets each Friday at Noon
At Left of Center in Downtown Visalia.
Our meetings normally last an hour and a half.

The Visalia Host Lions recently awarded two scholarships to local high school students.

Scholarship winner Distiny ortez

Golden West senior Destiny Ortiz is the recipient of Visalia Host Lions’ annual scholarship. She has consistently shown her commitment to Community Service in the last four years by volunteering in numerous school, church, non-profit and charitable organizations. She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average all four years and participated in numerous campus clubs. The scholarship will go toward her career aspirations to be a physician.

Madison Tamayo

A recipient of a $1000 scholarship is Madison Tamayo.

The first of Visalia’s six Lions clubs, the Visalia Host began in 1926 and has a rich history in the community.  With the Lions motto of “We Serve” the club has helped the Visalia community in so many ways over the years., giving to organizations and individuals in our community.
