Covid-19 Update: The Visalia Host Lions club will now be meeting weekly on zoom at our usual time, 12:00 Noon Fridays.
The meetings will be an hour long.

The Murder Mystery Dinner Has Been Canceled for 2020 

Because of all the issues with gatherings this year our club's board decided that the safe thing to do was simply cancel this year's event and move on to better times next year. If You have purchased tickets or are a sponsor please contact us at visaliahostlions@gmail.com or call/text Roy Dressel at 559-289-2382 and let us know if you would #1. Like to donate the money to our club to be used for charitable causes in the community. #2 Like for us to hold that money to be used at next year's event. #3. Like us to refund your money. 

The Visalia Host Lions recently awarded two scholarships to local high school students.

Scholarship winner Distiny ortez

Golden West senior Destiny Ortiz is the recipient of Visalia Host Lions’ annual scholarship. She has consistently shown her commitment to Community Service in the last four years by volunteering in numerous school, church, non-profit and charitable organizations. She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average all four years and participated in numerous campus clubs. The scholarship will go toward her career aspirations to be a physician.

A recipient of a $1000 scholarship is Madison Tamayo. 

Lions food donation to Kaweah Delta

On July 31,  lunch and dinner were served by representatives of Visalia Host, Sunset, Sequoia, Charter Oak, and Pride Lions Clubs to the 2nd South Nursing Unit at Kaweah Delta Hospital. All the clubs donated monies and Alejandra’s Mexican Food delivered the enchilada meals to the hospital. There are enough monies left to serve more meals. Lions Clubs of Visalia: WE SERVE!!!
