Michael Brown was with us today to discuss how electricity is generated and distributed to customers. He is a local attorney involved in the design of the grid and in the cost of that electric to business customers.
Todays Meeting
Lion President Melinda led our meeting again today and called on Lion Roy to lead us in saluting our flag, Lion Dee to lead us in signing a rousing version of God Bless America, and Lion Bob Line to do the invocation.
No fine badge went, once again, to Lion Leigh.
Secret Greater was Lion Brad, who noted that Lions Allen, Dee, Melinda and Bob Line did not shake his hand.
As this was the first meeting of February, we sang Happy Birthday to Lion Leigh and Brad, who were in attendance.
Announcements
Lion Leigh announced that he and Dee had attended a Leo club meeting on Thursday. They made plans for projects, like helping with the Special Olympics and cleaning up Kaweah Lake.
Lion Allen announced that this year’s Super Bowl pool will cost $1 per square. Allen also reminded us that on Feb 23rd, the Young Life group was having their annual banquet and that our club had purchased a table of 8. If you are interested, contact Lion Allen at 559-936-4563.
Lion Tom tries to pick out the white marble, but he came up empty.

Happy Bucks
Lion Pete was $20 happy today because his move to his new office building was finished; he was glad it was over.
Lion Brad was happy that the SF 49ers were going to the Supper Bowl.
Lion Roy was happy that earlier in the week the tempiture had reached the high 70s.
Lion Tom Link was happy that his Daughter, was directing The Sound of Music at her school this week. He was also happy that he was going to the coast this week to play golf with of group of guys. It was a mens only outing.
Lion Leigh had gone to the ophthalmologist and had his eyes dialiated, this past week. Whyle he was there in the dark, he saw a ray of light and it turned out to be Lion Karen, who brightioned up the room.
Lion Karen was happy that Lion Pat had taken Lion Arren chair as Lion Tamer today and also that Lion Mark and steped in as Tail Twister.
Lion Melinda was happy to hear the harmonies from Lions Dee and Pat in todays song. She was also happy to see the 49ers were going to the SuperBowl. It reminded her of times when she was a kind sitting with her dad watching football.
Lion Mark was happy that Lion President Melinda gave him another magnet to hold his badge on, as he had lost his this past week.
Lion Bob Line was happy that his relatives were going to be in anothe Honda Commerical because their car had 880,000 on the clock.
Fines
Lion Tom Link was fined because (wait for it) he was late.
Lion Roy fined Lion Allen for have a $1 super bowl pool, he noted that the gym he goes too (Leo Costa’s G Fit Plus) had a $50 per square pool.
Drawings
The $5 drawing went to Lion Steve, who donated it to the Leos.
Lotto ticket: Lion Tom Link, who also won the opportunity to get a white marble, but with that he came up short.
Lion Dee won the free add this week. Please note, that the Leo’s will be with us next week.
