Happy Bucks

Lion Roy had two happy bucks: one because his wife Javonna and he were celebrating their 13th anniversary on Tuesday and the other because Bill was here today to talk about the Central Valley Honor Flights.

Lion Mark was happy that running back Josh Jacobs was signed by the Green Bay Packers recently, and the other because Bill was with us today.

Lion Bob Line was happy that the El Demonte baseball team won the Clovis West because his grandson was the coach.

Lion John was happy that the Breakfast Lion’s annual Irishfest was happening on Saturday, as he had planned to go.

Lion Steve was happy that after almost fifty years in his house, they had installed three new garage doors to replace some very noisy ones.

Lion Melinda was happy that she would see Lion Ed and Carol on her trip to the coast. She was also happy to see Bill here today.

Lion Karen was also happy for the Irish Fest this weekend.

Lion Tom Link had a happy buck to let everyone know that the City of Moro Bay, where Lion Tom has a home, was having a city-wide garage sale this weekend.  He was also happy that his daughter had purchased an original Thomas Kyncade painting for $50 at a garage sale and found out it’s worth $3,500.

Lion Mark fined Lion Tony for writing down his name as Mark O’Dell.

Lion John fined Lion Tom Link for saying something about a friend having to take some meds for John’s wife to the coast for her. John said his wife doesn’t take any meds.

Lion President Melinda fined Lion Tom Link and Lion Bob Line for talking during her presentation.

Central Valley Honor Flights

Bill Goodreau with the Central Valley Honor Flights was our program today.  The Honor Flights takes veterans from the Central Valley back to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials, see Arlington, and visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, all at no cost to the veterans. The next flight will be April 15-17th. The return to the Fresno Airport will be on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 17th, and you are welcome to come and greet the veteran’s arrival home. Be there by at the latest 4:00 because there can be up to 3000 people at that event.

Bill Goodreau

The $5 drawing went to Lion Mark who donated it to the Leo Club.

Lotto ticket: our guest Bill Goodreau won it today

The marble drawing went to Lion Roy and despite all my effort to find the white marble, I came up with a black one.

Lion Tony won the free add.
