No fine badge went to Lion Tom Link.

Guests today were Marie Pinto, the CEO of pro youth and three from her staff, Juan, Brooke and Juana. Also with us today was Joseph Crawford, a guest of Lion Dee.

Auction Items

Lion Leigh had traveled to Porterville this past week and brought back an Ooey Gooey Bar from Stafords Chocolates, purchased almost immediately by Lion Melinda.

Lion Melinda had $10 because she had been in Texas visiting former members Ed and Carol Jones and did not bring back anything to auction off. ( I’m sure you could have found some fire starters while you were there)

Happy Bucks

Lion Melinda had a happy buck for that Texas visit and reported that former member Lion Jeanie was doing very well after some trying times in her life recently.  She was also happy that a friend who went on the trip with her could visit her son.

Lion Pat was glad his exes don’t live in Texas, which was seconded by Lion Melinda.

Lion Arron was happy that his wife, Lion Betty, was recovering nicely from open heart surgery. Our thoughts are prayers are with you Betty.

Lion Tony was happy that Pro Youth was with us today and noted that his wife, Nancy, works with them and the Shelter Buddies, where school kids go out to the animal shelter and read to the dogs and cats. This is part of the Pro-Youth Program.

Lion Pat was happy that his Barbershop Group made $2000 with their Valentines day singing.

Lion Allen was happy that last Friday’s Young Life fundraising dinner was fun and well attended.

Lion Roy was happy that the group from Pro Youth was with us today, and that he had connected with Juan from Pro-Youth on Linkedin and he was able to arrange the program.

Lion Allen fined Lion Melinda for not picking anyone for the secret greeter, the flag, or the song.

Today, being the first day of March, we recognized only one of our members, Lions Seve, who was born in March, and we sang a song to him.

Saturdays Eye Screem at TCOE

On Saturday March 2, our club had an eye screening event at Tulare County office of Education’s STEM event, Lion Allen, along with Lions Leigh, Tom Link and Roy screened about 60 kids. We only had two kids who were referred to an eye doctor.
