Happy Bucks
Lion Tom Link was happy to have won a trip to Sequoia National Park at a recent event. When they went up to Giant Forest, the bus stopped at Moro Rock, and he, along with the rest of the group, climbed to the top; a lady from Germany even took his photo, faabergasted that he made it all the way to the top.
Lion Pat was happy that he had recently renewed his driver’s license at the DMV for another six years.
Lion Brandon was happy to have his entire family at his house recently. He was also happy he had recovered from COVID, so he had two happy dollars.
Lion Geoff had a sad dollar because the Brewers eliminated the Dodgers and had gone on to win the World Series.
Lion Mark was happy that his Green Bay Packers held on to win their game on Thursday night.
Lion Allen was happy that the World Series was between two small-market teams.
Lion Roy was happy he could take a couple of motorcycle rides this week, and one of them was to the club meeting.
Fines
Lion Brandon fined himself because he couldn’t give his presentation last week. (COVID)
Lion Dee fined Lion Alvin because we had given some candy to the Valley Center for the Blind, where Alvin works. But when Lion Dee brought the candy by the office on Monday, the 26th, he found out that the party was the Friday before, so Lion Alvin must have been eating a lot of candy.
Drawings
The $5 drawing went to Lion Bob, who donated it to the Lions Eye Foundation.
The Lotto tickets went to Lion Tony today.
Lion Brandon’s name was chosen to draw for the marble, and while he did win the chance, he didn’t win the money.
Lion Mark was happy his team won on Thursday.
