Lions Exchange students Sarah Bilde and Cecile Hansen shared interesting facts about Denmark, their homeland. Cecile plans to attend Stanford University and study engineering, and Sarah hopes to become a police officer.
Each week we have a speaker come talk to our club about a variety of topics. Today, our own Eric Frost gave us a talk about the city’s plans to fund services and asked for our opinion.
Today Visalia’s mayor, Steve Nelson, talked to us about a nonprofit group that he has started to help people who have a family member diagnosed with Alzheimers.
Our club’s meeting today took place at the Imagine U Children’s University, that we help fund. Later, we were given a tour and got to play a little ourselves.
